Tan Laoxi shouted, “What the hell?!? You want me to scram?!?”

Guo Shier was really starting to get tired of his nonsense. He said, “Uncle Ying Mo, Uncle Luo Zhan, take him out of here!”

Tan Laoxi ran to Luo Jie’s side and shouted, “Old Luo, don’t you care about your old friend being treated like this by your apprentice?”

Luo Jie spread out both his hands and laughed, “If you want to join our team, I have no objections. But the team’s commander is Guo Shier. If he decides on something, I can’t change it.”

Watching Ying Mo and Luo Zhan approach step by step, Tan Laoxi got scared. “Alright, alright! One horse!”

He finally gave in. He couldn’t imagine the consequences once the two Marked Warrior Grandmasters closed in.

Guo Shier wanted to give his master face. “Uncle Ying Mo, Uncle Luo Zhan, come back,” he ordered. “Mr. Tan, you come over here.”

Lan Tian Bao very curiously watched Guo Shier. She couldn’t understand how a child could casually toss around a Grandmaster. On the other hand, she had a very poor impression of Tan Laoxi’s of foul language. This person was very annoying and not worth any sympathy.

Guo Shier coldly said, “Mr. Tan, if you want to stay in the team, first, you should clean that stinking mouth of yours. Second, obey my command at all times. Third, if you plan to secretly sabotage or mischievously play around with the team, I wouldn’t mind pounding you to a pulp!”

Qi Nanshan almost died laughing. Luo Jie was also very glad that finally, there was someone who could control this stubborn guy.

Tan Laoxi could only smile now. He did not dare be stubborn in front of Guo Shier. He realized that once this child became unreasonable, he was harder to deal with than adults—especially when the child’s strength is similar to his own.

Tan Laoxi was scared witless again. “No, I didn’t say anything,” he replied immediately.

“Alright, we’ll be leaving soon,” Guo Shier declared. “Our task is not that simple. It’s to hunt Marked Beasts. We’ll aim to get first place by hunting large numbers of them. Although we can certainly achieve the top place by hunting Marked Beast Variants, I don’t think it’s wise to hunt them.”

Even with nine Grandmasters in his team, Guo Shier was not certain in gaining victory if they ever come across a powerful Marked Beast Variant.

Everybody agreed to his decision. Even Luo Jie was no exception.

Until this moment, Tan Laoxi did not believe Luo Jie that Guo Shier was indeed the commander of the team. But now, it was clear to him that this child could really kick him out.

It was already the third day since they entered the Secret Realm.

Their team had a total of three months in the Secret Realm. In three months, they must acquire and go out with the loot. A Grandmaster level team stays in the Secret Realm for the longest time, followed by the Professional rank teams that only stay for two months. The trial team stays the shortest, for only one month.

The environmental climate in the Wild Beast Secret Realm was spring, which was very different from the outside world. After coming from the cold, this was a welcome change for Guo Shier. His mood suddenly turned very good.

Guo Shier was tormented in the cold West Rune Sect. From snow and ice, they have now arrived in a place as warm as spring. Of course he was very happy.

After three days of long distance rushed travel, the horses finally arrived at the foot of the mountain range. This was a rest point, and a supply station lied ahead. Preparations were made before entering the mountains.

From this point on, the horses could no longer continue. They must be left in the supply station to be retrieved later.

“The other side of the mountain was is purple area where the Marked Beasts Variants roam,” he continued. “Let’s try not to get close. And Mr. Tan, go and find the person responsible for the supply station. Let them arrange the best room and supplies.”

“Alright, I’ll go first!” Tan Laoxi agreed.

He rode his horse forward and went to arrange the housing for the group.

When he was out of earshot, Qi Nanshan laughed. “Damn! That guy is like a different man!”

Guo Shier laughed back. “Nanshan Grandpa, why are you so rude?”

“I’ve been with this person for a long time and most of the things he says are nonsense,” Qi Nanshan said, a little embarrassed.

Lantian Bao laughed along with them.

Afterwards, the war horses were deposited into the supply station.

A loud commotion can be heard from inside.

“What’s so amazing about you, you fucking shit? You think your strength means anything here in the West Rune Sect? Do you know how many Grandmasters you are fucking with?

“Fucking old fart!”

Guo Shier bitterly smiled. “Master, I wonder who this guy is arguing with again? He really is trouble.”

Luo Jie calmly replied. “Let’s see first.”

Eight Grandmasters walked into the courtyard of the supply station, followed by other people and about fifty war horses.

With the arrival of their crowd, the sound of the quarrel suddenly stopped.

Guo Shier seemed to encounter acquaintances wherever he want. He saw three familiar faces at a glance: Elder Storm Xie, Elder Storm Guai, and Elder Storm Du—bandits from the Secret Realm where they encountered the Emerald Mantis Variant.

There are also two other Grandmasters that he didn’t recognize.

Tan Laoxi was the kind of person who didn’t care who he was talking to. Standing beside him was a trembling practitioner, who seemed to be a Beast Warrior Adept assigned to the supply station. The wolf beside him seemed to be shaking, too. He was surrounded by Grandmasters and was unable to bear the great pressure.

“What’s going on?” Guo Shier asked.

Elder Storm Xie recognized Guo Shier and knew this child was someone they shouldn’t mess with. When the rest of Guo Shier’s group arrived, even Elder Storm Du couldn’t help but curse in his head. He couldn’t phantom why they had so many Grandmasters with them.

“I arrived first and started to arrange our rooms here, then this group of motherfuckers arrived later and tried to grab this room here,” Tan Laoxi said, unleashing a series of foul words while his spit scattered and splashed all around.

Guo Shier could only sigh. Although he was dissatisfied with Tan Laoxi’s actions, he also wouldn’t allow their group to be bullied and certainly won’t give in.

“Is that so?” he asked. “Are you going to rob us of the room we’ve arranged?”

When Elder Storm Xie tried to respond, Elder Storm Du suddenly pulled him back.

One of the two Grandmasters that Guo Shier didn’t know said, “That’s right! So what’s it to you, kid? This place is not a place for children to play around. What are you doing here?”

This man’s hair was sticking out like steel needles, the wrinkles on the face like knives and axes, and eyebrows were very thick. He was emitting an evil aura.

Guo Shier laughed. “Oh, you’re just outright robbing us? Very well—so I guess negotiations are useless? Alright, how do you want to fight? We’ll do it!”

The man coldly asked, “Can you represent them?”

Guo Shier flat out said, “Who the hell are you? Are you questioning me? Since you don’t dare fight, get out of here!”

The man was furious and took a step back towards Elder Storm Xie and the others. “You block the others, I’m going to slaughter this guy!”

Then he took out his own Innate Rune Book.

“You’re courting death!” shouted Guo Shier.

Qi Nanshan moved in a flash towards the other group. The three Storm brothers did not intercept but instead turned around and backed away.

In a blink of an eye, Qi Nanshan moved to the man’s  side. He reached out and immediately grabbed his neck.

The man was taken aback. He was so dumbfounded that he wanted to shout. Why did the Storm brothers leave him out in the open?

“A Caster Grandmaster?” Guo Shier said, laughing. “Haha! Master, can you grab the Glyphs from his Innate Rune Book?”

When the man heard this, he started trembling in fear. What a joke—a Caster Master with no Glyphs is like a soldier without a weapon!

Tan Laoxi couldn’t help but break into a cold sweat. He thought to himself, This kid is too horrible, I shouldn’t mess with him!”

Guo Shier looked towards the direction of the three Storm brothers and the other unknown Grandmaster.

“Elder Storm Du, do you have a problem with this?” said Guo Shier.

Elder Storm Du was very depressed. He muttered quietly: “Haven’t we backed out from this encounter? What more do you want?”
